Every House has a Voice Campaign at Surdo Prop

In just 4 months of running our “Every House Has a Voice” campaign at Surdo Prop, we’ve achieved:

  • 7 homes sold
  • R20 million in sales value
  • Endless connections made

Why did we do it? Because every home has a story to tell, and by ditching the ordinary, we’ve created a campaign that not only sells homes but makes them unforgettable.

Here are just a few examples of how we reimagined real estate marketing through our “For Sale” and “Sold” signs:

“𝐎𝐥𝐝 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐦, 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐞” – A heritage property listed as a National Monument.

“𝐀 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐬” – A unique feature connected to a late family member.

“𝐎𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐬𝐲” – A character-filled corner home.

“𝐈𝐭 𝐖𝐚𝐬 𝐋𝐨𝐟𝐭 𝐚𝐭 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭” – A captivating loft apartment.

“𝐀 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐥𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐍𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 𝐀𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝” – Buyers expecting their first child.

“𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐈𝐬 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐈𝐬” – A property within walking distance to school.

“𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐲’𝐝 𝐁𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐖𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐨𝐫” – Frustrated buyers finally finding their dream home.

In the heart of Cape Town’s Southern Suburbs, Surdo Prop was founded by Gabriel da Matta to bring a new vision to real estate: one where your voice is heard, and your dreams matter.

As an attorney, property professional, and a man deeply rooted in his community as a neighbour, father, and husband, Gabriel saw the need for a real estate service that operates not just with professional excellence but with genuine empathy and innovation.

Specialising in residential sales, Surdo Prop is where personal attention meets unparalleled expertise; it’s about reshaping how property transactions are done, focusing on what truly matters to you.

As we move forward, Surdo Prop remains dedicated to creating a difference in the Southern Suburbs and beyond, advocating for a real estate industry that’s more responsive, inclusive, and effective.

Ensuring Every Voice finds a Home

Every House Has a Voice

Transcribed Audio elements: As part of our Every House Has a Voice campaign at Surdo Prop, we celebrate detransaction, we celebrate the buyers and the sellers, and more importantly, we celebrate the properties we are selling. That’s what makes us Protique, that’s what makes us a bespoke agency, that we craft our marketing campaign around you, the buyers, and the sellers. We’ve had so many requests from our followers regarding our latest campaign, so we thought we’d take a deeper dive into what each sign entails. We recently sold this beautiful heritage property, which is also listed as a national monument in Chelsea Village, Wynberg Upper. We came up with the slogan Old Charm, New Fire to celebrate the property itself as well as the new energy that the buyers will bring to the space. This is one of seven sold signs in the campaign. Let me show you the rest, take a look. There’s a lovely little fountain that fills the courtyard of this property we sold with the most majestic sounds. It was actually installed by a late family member of our seller, and as an ode to that, a fountain of memories awaits the new buyers. We concluded a swift deal within two weeks on this corner property in Wynberg Upper, a home that’s filled with a lot of character and a lot of warmth, and as an ode to that character and warmth, we came up with the slogan Sold on the Corner of Charming and Cosy by Surdo Prop. We sold a loft apartment in the southern suburbs, and not an ode to the buyer or sellers themselves, but more to do with the property. The tagline on this one was love at first sight. We represented a young couple looking to buy their first home in the southern suburbs, and during the transaction, the wife found out she was pregnant. The tagline in this one is that a couple of sleepless nights await. After spending many frustrating hours in the car travelling to and from school, we engaged with a young couple who wanted to be as close as possible to the school district. They ended up buying a property in Weinberg Upper from us, and the tagline in this transaction was home is where the school is, which had a double meaning as it was also an ode to the reason the seller had initially bought there. She was a single parent raising her son alone, and he got the ability and the privilege to walk to and from school each day, saving both sets of families countless hours. The last in the series is a young couple who could not find their perfect home, and after driving past the property one day and seeing our son, we concluded a transaction. The tagline in this property was the sign they’d been waiting for. It’s been a really enjoyable experience expressing our creativity as part of our Every House Has a Voice campaign at Surdo Prop.  If you’re looking to buy or sell a property in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town, give me a call.
